There is a myth about Kauai vacation rentals that should be dispelled. The general perception is that to get anything nice, you'll have to spend your life savings. That's simply is not true. While it is true that there are plenty of expensive places to stay, there are plenty of Kauai vacation home rentals that can be quite affordable and beautiful.

Most Kauai accommodations are either on the east, south or north shores. The west shore of Kauai is mostly privately and government owned. Each of the shores has a distinct flavor. Although it's a relatively small island, the weather is still a little different depending on where you are!

The East Shore of Kauai

Located on the East Shore of Kauai, the Wailua Hideaway is just minutes from beaches, kayaking, shopping, dining, hiking, waterfalls, helicopter tours, boat tours, and snorkeling. We are also perfectly centered between the south and north shores, making a quick trip to either place just a short car ride. The east shore is the most varied of the shores, offering visitors the most options in activities, tours and shopping, all within easy reach.

We are also proud to say that our prices are among the best on the island. Our vacation "home away from home" sleeps up to four guests, includes a long list of amenities and has stunning views of the mountains and a stream.

Rates:
The Wailua Hideaway is a non-smoking Kauai vacation rental, however smoking is permitted on the Lanai. No pets are allowed. Vacation Rental rates are based on two (2) guests. There is an additional charge of $10 per guest per night up to four (4) guests maximum. Children are welcome! All rates below are in US Dollars.

$150 per night (3-night minimum stay)
$800 per week

All rates are subject to a Hawaii Excise and Accommodations Tax of 11.25% and a $100 Cleaning Fee.

Deposit:
A $200 refundable damage deposit is required to hold a reservation at the Wailua Hideaway Kauai vacation rental. The deposit will be refunded 7 days after check out, if there is no damage to the Wailua Hideaway vacation home. The full rental balance, plus tax (11.25%) and the cleaning fee ($50) will be due 30 days prior to check in. Please make your check or money order payable to:

Cancellation Policy:
Your deposit will be returned if your reservation is cancelled within 30 days before your scheduled arrival. If cancellation is made less than 30 days from scheduled arrival, the deposit will be returned if a new tenant is found for the cancelled time period.
