Kauai, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth to live or vacation. From the pristine beaches to the majestic mountains Kauai is remembered by all as a very unique island to visit. Wailua Hideaway is located in a near perfect area as it is centrally located in the middle of the island and short distances to all the places of interest and activities on Kauai. There is something for all on Kauai.

Kauai-Vacation-Beach

Kauai being a pacific island of course it has beaches. Kauai's beaches are of great variety. You have the big public beaches in Poipu and dozens of beaches that are private and secluded. The soft sand and warm water attracts vacationers of all ages from grandparents to children.

When staying at our Kauai vacation rental there is a beautiful beach at the bottom of the hill in Kapaa less than a ten minute drive. Within a half an hour drive you have a selection of dozens of beaches.

 

Kauai-Waterfall-Vacation

Kauai is know as the "Garden Island" for good reason. Kauai is extremely lush in vegetative growth, almost tropical in areas. The island literally has spectacular waterfalls every where you go. Some of the waterfalls you need to hike into them, but they are several that are along the road where you can park and view. If it rained the night before you are in for a treat as the views of these waterfalls are beyond description.

In fact there is a waterfall within a 5 minute drive of your vacation rental. It is called 'Opeaka'a Falls. It is located on the north branch of the Wailua River.

There are many waterfalls you need to drive to but just as many that you can combine into an adventurous activity. Kipu Falls is just that. If you take the Kipu Ranch ATV tour you get to see this magnificent water fall that is only viewable if you take a ATV tour. Bring your swim gear as it is a terrific way to cool off after riding the trails of the Kipu Ranch ATV tour. 

 

 

Kauai-Golf-Vacation

 For those of you vacationers visiting Kauai that enjoy the sport of golf you will find world class golfing courses. Below you will find a selected few:

Prince Golf Course is one of the most celebrated golf courses in the world. This golf course is 10 hole, par 72. It climbs slopes and covers downhill as well. This golf course demands planning out your shots well, good course to practice your strategies.

Kauai Lagoons Golf Club is listed as one of the top 50 golf courses in the world in the Golf Worlds Readers Choice. It is designed by Nicklaus.
